Towards Employment Collaborations Support Holistic Strategy
Towards Employment invests in a holistic approach by
building partnerships and collaborations with businesses to solve complex social, health, and educational training challenges for
successful employment outcomes.
More about Towards Employment: (from the website here)
"We have a single focus – jobs. The Towards Employment mission is to empower individuals to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency through employment."
"Since 1976, we’ve helped more than 100,000 low-income and disadvantaged adults in Greater Cleveland prepare for jobs, get jobs, keep jobs and move up the career ladder. And since 2004, we’ve successfully taken on the challenge of placing ex-offenders in full-time, permanent jobs."
Ohio City Power Programs Connect And Empower Community Capacity
Ohio City Power programs build relationships to accelerate connectivity between community and large organizations for regional workforce development.
The One-On-One Job Coaching program, for example, creates resumes and builds interview confidence to increase the success of members in their skills training and employment seeking experience. Everyone is welcome.
By collaborating with large regional employment training service organizations, Ohio City Power serves Ohio City, Ohio homeless, unemployed, and under-employed to advance community capacity and local prosperity building.
