Long Standing Social Connectivity Helps Others

Long standing social connectivity between two high school classmates helps those less fortunate.

Lisa Braun, Executive Director, Ohio City Power is shown above with Wendy Davis (right) , who, with members of the Chagrin Falls High School After Prom Committee, donated and delivered ten Christmas trees to members of the Ohio City Power community in Ohio City, Ohio.

Wendy and Lisa are graduates of Chagrin Falls High School and members of The Federated Church in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

Federated Flies Visits Chagrin River Outfitters

Federated Flies Connects To Expert Knowledge, Coaching and Mentoring

The Ohio City Power Federated Flies team will make a special trip this Saturday, April 14, 2012, to visit Chagrin River Outfitters, a business in Chagrin Falls, Ohio specializing in fly fishing for Rainbow Trout, or Steel head Trout. Read more about Rainbow Trout on Wikipedia here. 

The Federated Flies team meets with Dan Pribanic, owner of Chagrin River Outfitters and staff, for a professional critique of their work and to exchange ideas and tips about the art of fly tying. 

These four tiers like to connect with fly fishing enthusiasts and professionals for feedback to improve their craft and refine product. Meeting at Chagrin River Outfitters is a first and enthusiastically anticipated! 

Ohio City Power incubates the Federated Flies program, a start-up initiative, by cultivating mutually beneficial business relationships to improve access to talent and resources for collaboration.
 
Federated Flies Featured At Cleveland Museum Of Natural History

The Federated Flies team is preparing flies for the upcoming Cleveland Museum of Natural History Trout Club Annual Dinner, April 21, 2012, in University Circle Inc., Cleveland, Ohio. Members will each receive fly boxes with a mix of six, custom crafted, Federated Flies.

Federated Flies may be purchased at the Ohio City Power online Store here. Proceeds from sales provide much needed income for Ohio City, Ohio homeless and jobless. Projects benefit not only the homeless and jobless, but generate important re-employment pathways for community prosperity building.

Scrumptious Hough Bakery Chocolate Valentine Pops

Valentine Chocolaty Pops Sales Support Employment Programs
Karen Perry of the Elderlife Ministry, at The Federated Church in Chagrin Falls, Ohio makes and sells Valentine Day Chocolates to benefit St. Paul's Community Outreach and Ohio City Power. Karen is shown here Sunday March 31, 2012. 
Chocolate-making is an Ohio City Power program providing education, skills training and re-employment for the homeless and jobless in Ohio City, Ohio.

All proceeds benefit St. Paul's Community Church and Ohio City Power. Friends of St. Paul's earn a portion of the profits, as well as learn the importance of teamwork and accountability and everyone has fun!

Member's of The Federated Church's Elderlife Ministry donate their precious time to make the Pops. Their efforts are priceless!
